Client
Mazarin is a Paris-based luxury jeweller specialised in lab-grown diamonds.
Objectives
Specifically commissioned for UX and web design, our objective was in making a heavily-branded website accessible and ergonomic while maintaining a distinctive, luxury shopping experience. We designed the website from 3 of Maison Nue’s preliminary screen designs, continuously rethinking information architecture to accommodate new ideas and to respect pre-approved structures.
Contributions
  • UX design and recommendations
  • Mockup and prototype on Adobe Xd
  • Dev handoff and supervision on Usepastel
Credits
Made in collaboration with Twenty-Eight, Maison Nue and Aurélien Sentis
Solutions

We brought UX changes and recommendations in the hierarchy of information and in the reorganisation of crucial shop-related elements, such as the header navigation, collection pages and product pages, regularly debriefing with Maison Nue to adapt design and UI as UX evolved, and vice versa.

Body

For jewels that required additional selections to be added to the cart (color, carat, size), we designed a 3-step pop-up experience, guided by the CTA’s changing text and visual cues to direct the user’s attention to relevant information. This imitates a sales advisor’s assistance in a shop, contributing to Mazarin’s luxury online shopping experience.
